After reaching home and forcing myself through a single match of DotA, here's my take on the BBQ that took place on the 6th of September.(YSD)
The company wasn't too bad.Just a couple of misfits *cough*.
There's an extent to what people can and WILL take from you before they flare up.
Be nice.
Unfortunately some of the people there were born with low EQ count.Meh. *shrugs*
Chicken wings and satays were way better than the ones at last BBQ that we had.
My only gripe was with the quantity and people who never helped out.
And to say it out, it's a BBQ, why do you study at a BBQ?
Why do people sit in groups and talk and never help out?
Why can't (some of)you act your age and put a stop to shouting profanities at each other?
I used to think that NS people are fun to be with and they'll share their "ghost stories" and adventures with you.
This particular group had to make me do a 180 degrees change in my self note on NS personels.
That aside, the BBQ can be considered a success.All that needs to be done was done.
Except that we didn't have a shelter/plan if it rains, and it DID.
The most fun part of the day for me had to be at the Bowling Centre. ^^
I feel like a kid each time I threw the bowling ball which I'm such a n00b at.
But there's where the fun is.Losing yourself.
Going back home in the rain is a pain in the ass.(And wet on the soles too.)
Especially when there's a long queue for Cabs and to be informed that there's no available Taxis nearby for Dial-a-Cab.
ECP->Underpass->Bustop->Bus196a->Clementi->Cab->Home.YATA!
DotA-wise, we GGed Lion and PL in a late game match.Darn the gh3y PL images.
D/L -wise, I managed to download DMC Episode 3 at the end of this post.
Saving it for the next day.
